I agree with you.Most small business don’t know a thing about internet marketing let alone execute their Internet marketing strategy.

However, more and more are waking up to the fact that Internet marketing is a must in order to survive and prosper.

There is no “secret”. There are two methods you can use:
1) Show yourself to be of value and people will follow you.
2) Actively follow people and some of them (30-50%) will follow back.
When you actively follow people, make sure that:
1) Follow no more than 200 a day, spread during the day.
2) When you have less then 2000 followers you are limited to following 2000. After that, you can follow 10% more than the number of followers you have.
3) Unfollow people that do not follow you back within 3 days.
4) When you reach 1600 followers, you can start use automation to get targeted followers. I recommend http://bit.ly/11BlH6
